Safe to house Together?

Iv'e headr stories and even seen videos but...

My Zebra Died.

I'm getting a parakeet.

Is it safe to house a parakeet, society and spice togethyer in a large cage?

I'm sorry about your zebra! I would keep your society and spice in one cage, and your parakeet in a separate cage. If you don't have the time to really give the parakeet a lot of attention, I would recommend actually getting two - they're very social.

Ok. Thanks! But that also means ,y Finches would have to be in a small cage for a few weeks.

Don't worry! I have plenty of time. :D

I have two keets with my socieites...no problems at all. Depends on the birds, I think.

i have had the sme thing keets with finches,you here some nasty tales of keets nipping toes off etc,but if a keet was nipping your toes would you fly away .of course you would and keets are very slow moving ,as opposed to the finches quick flight.
