What do I have here?

Ok, I did something that maybe wasn't the best - I sort of rescued this little guy from a pet store. He's been picked on a bunch, and I've been watching him for several weeks. Anyway, he's at my house now, all alone in a cage for a while until all his feathers grow back. So, zebra finch experts, what mutation is he?

could he be a white chestnut flanked zebra?

Maybe, but that teardrop is awfully light. There are very light chest bars, and very light brown marks under those wings. Maybe he's just a very faint CFW?

Kudos to you for taking this little one home!
It is hard to see them neglected in a pet shop.
