What is this lighter zebra?

I guess the darker one is a regular normal? What about the lighter one? Are they both males? Thanks for looking!

Thank you! The fawn was being a bully to 3 of his siblings that were also in the cage, but he seems to get along with this one... so far!

I think he looks much more like Grey Isabel or SF Floridan Fancy.

His black markings have the diluted light colour of those mutations, if he were fawn his markings would be darker and more solid

Or at least that is my take on him.

A Florida Silver does not have the pronouced breast bars (my FS has none) and the back is more of a lacey look to it.

yet he could be a SF FSilver (scroll to the last pic on the FF page) like Ameza said earlier....I think Recessive silver though. I don't see fawn.

Linda, you said he is in with siblings, do you have the parents? If so what are they?

Hm, I have never seen silvers in real life so I assumed othervice. But I agree with Cindy, I think reseccive silver is a very good guess.
He looks exact to Roy's pictures of that mutation!

Ameza, the only reason I am leaning towards the recessive silver is due to the back and the breast bars (I have Florida silver, my birds must of thought I was nuts running in and out of the bird room to compare!!)...anyway the back does not have that lacey look.

I would be interested to see the parents if she has them.

That was precisely my thought, but I hadn't considered recessive silver since they are rare.

Here are another couple siblings. (There are 8 siblings from 4 clutches).

Can you tell enough from these pics or should I try to get more?

Wow, I am so glad you saved these poor zebras from their previous owner.! They look so sad and pitiful! That said, they have interesting colors. I see some fawn in the one hatchling. Maybe you have some fawn/silver or silver/fawn zebras? They will look great once they're feathers come back.

Linda, the one in the bottom picture on the left, the female looks to be a silver fawn Isabel. Poor things, hope they feather out soon.

Recessive silver IMO. And I told you that little hen was isabel Linda! cannot wait until they get back to where they should be! You seem to have a unique pair, throwing a variety of chicks! Keep them! Good luck!
