I've been reading up a little on Diamond Firetail. I think they're a very pretty finch and wouldn't be opposed to having one. However, I've read they're aggressive, but another site said they are not....
Does anyone have personal experiences with Diamonds that could attest to their nature?

Re: Diamond Firetail
I don't have any, but I have heard from many sources that you should not house them with any other Australian finches, as they can be very aggressive. If I am not mistaken, they also have a very loud and disruptive call. Shame though because they are so very pretty.

I have several in a mixed aviary...no problems. But a pair in a cage have suddenly decided to murder each other after two years...It's down to individual birds.
