I ordered "normals"....BH Female and OH Male...
The female, Gilda, is 9 months old. The Male, OJ, is 15 months old. Does it look like she is going through a molt or does she have some "pied" or other mutation causing the spots on her head?

Re: My First Gouldian Pair
She just didn't finish her first molt. With this years molt she should complete her adult colors. Sometimes they get "stuck" in a molt. Causes could be anything from drop in temperature, diet fluctuations, shortness of daylight, a move, or any kind of stress.

Re: My First Gouldian Pair
Looks like she never finished her molt like Candace said. Your male looks to be a Single Factor Yellow on my monitor.

Congrats on your new additions.
BTW, I like your color scheme for your bird list in your signature.
