Zeb's & Gould's...
I have a pair of Zeb's (Mom & Pop) who had 2 chicks...The parents are ready for the chicks to leave the nest/cage...I also have 2 Male Gould's in Q...I have found a home for 2 of the Zeb's...I am not 100% about the sex of these babies, but am thinking that they are hens. When do male Zeb's get their orange cheeks? Also, would the Mom & Pop be easier for the Gould's to get along with or 2 hens??? Personally, I would like to keep the hens because I don't want anymore Zebra chicks...Any advice is greatly appreciated...

I'll rather stick to what I know about my Zeb and Gould's: A pair of Zebs would be more aggressive towards the more gentle Goulds as they are naturally more aggressive birds, but it really depends on the size of the aviary and if the Zebs are looking to breed. So your Gouldians will be better off with the 2 hens than a pair. Good Luck
