Improters?

Post by nvs_nme_671 » Sun Feb 03, 2008 2:57 am

I live on Guam (U.S. territory in the Pacific) and I was wondering due to the fact that availability of Finches, is how can I make special orders of some kind, maybe I'd like to get my hands on different species than what i already have...

I would contact one of the big US importers/dealers (like Birds Express) and see what they can do.

Hi guys,

I am located in Hawaii, not too far from Guam huh?

When you got your birds from Bird Express, consider the quality of their birds, I spent almost $10k on their birds the last 2 years and recently had to dispute a portion of my credit card charge due to sick birds they got me.

And the owner told me when I order Gouldians from them, can only say "blue back, how many pairs, yellow back, how many pairs", no specific breast or head color. DO YOU BUY GOULDIANS THAT WAY?

Since then I go to bird mart in Pomona in California for better quality even though the price is much higher, pay for what you get.

Just to give the other perspective, I've ordered just once from Birds Express (3 pairs of red cheek cordon bleus), and they were excellent condition other than some beaks that needed trimming (which is typical of the species). The main question is who will ship to Guam?
