Orange weavers molt...
When male orange weavers molt back into their off-season plumage, is it normally a big deal? I mean, is it normally gradual or do they drop a bunch of feathers at once and look scraggely for a bit?

Well then i sm definently not getting them. petsmart is selling there orange weavers for $35 but i found a nother petshop only sellin them for $7. i was thinking bout getting a pair put in a seperate cage. that is a big price difference and for $7 a piece i wouldnt mind getting a pair.

I have 8 budgies and they are molting like crazy. they have feathers all over the garage. i just vacuumed yesterday and had to vacuum again today. i been feeding them there regular diet plus molting supplement and they love it.
