The Moderation Team would like to remind the membership of one of the most important aspects of our Terms of Service:
"Family friendly, always--meaning appropriate for young audiences--even when posting external links!"
It has been brought to our attention that some recent posts have not been entirely appropriate for children. We do have young members, even if they may not post often, and we know that the children of some members may read posts on the forum. In addition, this is an open forum, anyone with access to the internet (including very young children) can read our posts. We also have members from many diverse cultures. What is silly joking to some can be offensive to others, especially those from more restrictive cultures.
As a matter of courtesy, and in accordance with our TOS, the best way to banter with other members in the borderline range of conversations is via PM. When posting, please keep in mind that adult subjects and language are not family friendly. Thanks for your help in keeping this forum available to everyone.

Re: Forum Etiquette
It seems that it is time once again to remind the membership that forum etiquette and decorum should be followed out of consideration for the other users on the board. We ask that you keep all posts and PMs friendly, civil, and constructive. If there is a problem with another member, please do not engage that member. Instead, contact your Moderation Team for assistance. If there is a problem with a post or a PM, please use the Report feature. Above all, be respectful of the opinions of others.

Re: Forum Etiquette
Just a quick reminder to all the membership that on the internet, use of all caps is often regarded as shouting and can be distracting for others. Please keep the use of all caps to emphasize a word or two in a post. This is actually included in our Terms of Service, but I know the tendency with TOS is to click 'I accept' without really reading everything, so here it is.
"Post Format
Posts should be made with a normal sized font and written in English (or an English translation should be provided); excessive use of caps-lock should be avoided. Posts which are difficult to read due to formatting may be edited or deleted and the User warned."
