The society finch I picked up yesterday seems to be doing okay with my bleu, but I do see the society finch peck at my bleu occasionally when she gets too close. I am hoping that this will stop as they get to know each other. The bleu is still singing and the society finch is noisy noisy noisy. I'm hoping that's a good thing that they are comfortable enough to make noise. I turned the heat up in the apartment to about 75 since I am not staying there and have given them the electrolyte and vitamin supplement in their water.

Anyone else have any ideas of what I can do to make sure I don't lose another bird? I am not sure if I am doing things right.

I'd be careful to change the water every day with the additives in it - it'll grow bacteria fast. Give them a varied diet and keep them out of drafts - sounds to me like you have the rest of it covered!
