ranasrule They look like Tri coloured mannikins. Also known as Tri coloured munia. It looks like one adult and 2 juveniles that still has to colour up. If the adult bird didn't have the white on the chest area, I would have said it is Black headed munia. I have not seen these birds in life for more that 35 years. The White headed munias, I have seen on occasion, but not the black headed or tri coloured munias.

Are you buying these birds? or are they friends birds? (I said the same thing on all your posts in other bird related forums the last few times)

The bird with the white breast band is a Tricolor Mannikin. Juvies of this finch are lighter colored all over ( I have 10 adults ), so if the bird partly hidden behind the other has no band possibly it is a Black Headed Mannikin. They are not sexually dimorphic, but with careful study you can learn to differentiate the sexes in a group by male vocalization. Great, easy keeping birds, good breeders if you can achieve a compatible pair.
