These chicks are from a RF splittoSeagreen male x Pied hen. all four colors are possible.
The chick on the left has a darkercolored head, the other three are yellowish, similar to the way
Yellow Gouldians look at this age. But Pied PF's do not feather out yellow, they start out green like normals and get their Piedness during juvey molt. Is this color difference relevant at this age ?

Pieds will hatch with a yellowish skin but darken once the juvenile feathers grow, all they will retain at fledging is a yellow beak and sometimes pied outer flight feathers.
