I learned many things from trying to hand-feed these guys last year. It was not an easy task, and there was pretty much no sleep for the first 10 days.

I can't swear by it, but the chirps and begging sounds seemed to stimulate another young pair, into nesting, and now they have 3 5-day old babies themselves! Chirps from that nest are getting louder, and the parents eat Phoenix worms (black soldier fly larvae), as fast as I can dump them in!
