Zebra identification

no breast bar. Could it just be late in showing ? Siblings are colored up.

Very interesting looking colouring. Cindy should be able to help with Id but she will need pictures of the tail as well for proper identification.

I will take tail pictures. Father was a wild type Blackface, mother was a normal. Either could have shown signs of other mutations that I did not notice. I am still learning about the subtleties of Zeb mutations. Their repeat clutch was destroyed by the male, I sold him as a pet.

Can I see a picture of both parents (if you have one of the dad) and their tails?

How old is this bird?

Checking my records to see if I had any pics of parents, I realized this is not the bird I thought it was. This bird was a purchase of unknown origin and age. The breeder has Florida Fancys and was working towards the Phaeo. I have had him about a year, though he looked like a baby when I got him. He is a big bird, the largest Zebra I have. What would be good crosses for him to continue towards the Phaeo ?

Phaeo is two genetics, black breast and florida fancy ( isabel)
