Very nice Cindy. I like the FFOBBB cock in the 2nd picture the best though. I tried to breed a completely brown zebra, a few years ago, but my FFOBBB cocks were considerably lighter than yours in the 2nd picture on the right. I had very little knowledge and I used a fawn cheeked hen as my foundation hen. Water blisters over some chicks eyes kept popping up (which is a problem in the fawn cheeked line) and I got sick to my soul of killing baby birds. I got rid of my entire zebra stock and decided to focus on more exotic finches.

Hi Cindy.
I've been meaning to ask for quite a while and finally managed to post these pictures to clipboard (I hope).

What are these colour mutations, especially the top one?

Thanks

Top one is a BFFFOB/BB or Black Face Florida Fancy Orange breast split to Black Breast

Thanks. That's an amazing looking bird. Have yo ever had one like that? What on earth would you have to put together, to get this ?

just a combination of full either FFBBOBBF or BBOBBF. The FF and the OB work against the BB and BF and turn the black to orange in the next generation. With each generation you add a bit more of the black and orange or a FFOBBB (combinations vary) depending on the results you want to end up with and eventually you end up with a mostly "red" bird. (the red is actually orange).

I do have some of the ones in the first link.
