Got this little guy last Friday in a trade.
I'm looking for a hen for him.
Anybody in Calgary have one?
Please let me know?

BigBear0007 He is an absolute beauty! I am green with envy. Pity about the distance, I have a couple of spare hens. Any idea on his age? Do you have a side view photo of him?

I'll try and get more picks and check his bands.
He doesn't like them, and tugs on them.
I had a canary that did that till the leg was bloody,
and I had to cut the band off.
I will let you know.

BigBear0007 Great, that means he is still at his fertile peak. When I see a heavy pied Red Faced Parrot like that, I always want to make sure that it is not a old bird. RFPF pieds get progressively more pied as they get older. People sometimes want to sell you old birds that are infertile already.

Very nice bird, you were lucky to get such a good pied from 2014, he's probably only gone through 1 adult moult so should start showing more and more piedness with each future moult.
