At long last I was able to purchase a pair of Diamond Firetail finches from a somewhat local dealer. Unfortunately I suspect I have obtained two cocks rather than a cock/hen pair. Lets call the two specimens A (with orange leg ring) and B (with yellow leg ring). Both have a deep red beak, but B has more white where it meets the forehead. A has a redder eye ring than B. Both cart nesting material to build the nest and both have a long, rather gravely display call. Here are photos of A:

and B:

They are only a few days off the plain from Belgium so are still a little soiled.
Here are some videos of A:

Here is a video showing both A and B carrying nesting material to the nest:

Interesting they chose a platform for their nest over the provided urn and canary nests. I guess this may be just a roosting nest?
I would greatly appreciate any educated guesses as to the gender of these two. If I'm quick I may have a chance to return them to the dealer. Thanks in advance.

AS per the videos of both, i would say both are males, females will not display and sing like that...

Thanks for your comments. They confirm my suspicions.
I wonder if you or Diamond Sparrow (or others) would like to suggest the sex of this Diamond Firetail:

Hen? Cock? Or perhaps both genders can make this call?
Cheers.
