Shannylee oh it's quite real Sharon, I'm just laughing cause I think it's just funny :D

I had an old friend who used to have a British bullfinch that used to say hello,

Finches have been known to talk but are very rare

Stuart whiting, I watched the video 3 times and it sure did look real. I've never heard of finches that talked.

My grandmother had a budgie that said "Georgie Porgie, puddin' and pie. Kissed the girls and made them cry." He would say "Hi Joyce" when she walked in the room. He was remarkable.

I only had a cockatiel that bonded to the dog. When someone knocked on the door, the dog barked and so did the bird.

I would have wondered if it was just a fake video, with someone playing a voice over the bird's chirp, but then I saw at the end that the video was produced by Huntington Birds in San Diego. I had heard before that Sally Huntington had a talking finch, so now I can say I've heard it!

Yea mate, I can can clearly remember watching this on the life of birds video collection that I had some 25 years ago,

Look at how young sir David is there in the film, he'd probably have a bit of trouble walking about that forest floor nowadays

Amazing birds those Aussie lyre birds, I've always wanted to go bird watching on a safari out in the Aussie outbacks
