new gouldians arrived safely

Post by mickp » Wed Sep 17, 2008 9:09 pm

my new birds arrived yesterday all fit & healthy after 4 hours in the car.
got the 10 youngsters, but I dont believe them to be 9 months old anymore. on seeing them they appear to be more like a 6 month old bird, not going to complain though, just have to wait longer before letting them breed. also got an adult female to pair with my year old male, she is rh while he is bh, must have made his dreams come true all at once as he started singing & dancing for her straight away.
no camera at moment so no pics sorry
Addicted to Finches, yes I do admit it.
I pray they never find a cure.

Congratualations....I'm sure you'll get a head start on some baby Gouldians with your 1 yr old male...he probably has hormones running rampant in his little body. Good luck! Do you have a variety of head colors?
I don't have any finches right now but I used to, I'll try to provide my knowledge around the forum
