Hi All,

Had to go to the Pet Shop yesterday, to replenish my mealworm stash.

Well they had a lovely white Canary there, but he was way too expensive

Then I happened to glance at the Societies, and they had the cutest sweetest, most darling two little birds.....

I noticed right away that one was a male (all poofed up and singing his heart out. The other one was listening, but not singing, so I assumed it was a female.

I got my mealworms (500 of them), picked up some treats for the pups, grabbed 3 Octocinclus for the fish tank, and went back to the Socies, sigh....

Darn it, they were even cuter than before....

What can a girl do? I mean what could anyone do????

They are by the way 2 boys, both singing when we got home...

The more I look at them, the more I think they're brothers.
Their colors are very similar, except that one is crested and one is not.

The crested boy, has one feather that sticks up permanently. Every time I look at him, he makes me laugh.

I think I'll name him Alfalfa, and the other one Buckwheat

lovezebs perfect names I would of bought them up too would love a crested.There is something about the society finches I just love them there my very favorite.I have two female zebras that I really like too,they are so funny to watch like the society too bad they don't have the same sweet personality I would love to get two more females but am afraid to add any more in with them.

Awww !! They are just too adorable !! I love Alfalfa's little feather sticking up I cannot go into a pet store without checking out the birds and if I had room for more cages I would probably come home with one or two all the time . I love the colors , Congratulations on your new little guys !!

I love em! I have a crested male and they are a hoot. They always look like someone dumped a bucket of water on their head and the expressions on their face with that crest always look like they are mad about it.. LOL.

Societies!! I wanna squeeze them and hug them and.....get my......TWEEZERS ....lemme pluck that ONE little feather!! *hee hee
