Two society finches plus one

Post by Hawthorne06 » Tue Apr 18, 2017 5:53 pm

Hi,
Just bought a pair of society finches male and female, both in full moult. Then rescued another male they all seem to get along. But not sure if i should buy another female for the single male or would they ok as a set of three ?

They are both in moult with no tail feathers look a little stumpy, but their new feather are coming through how long does this moult last for ?
Thanks

Societies are one of the few finch species that can be kept in trios, though even with this species, there will be exceptions. Normally though, they get along. As far as the tail feathers, tails grow back in really fast, within weeks.
3 Purple Grenadiers, 1 Goldbreast + 1 cat.

I have 3 society
2 female sisters and 1 male. They got along together really well last year
But started to have problems this year. Wish I had gotten a 4th last year.
