I understand that you want them to breed, but how is it working for you so far?
Eggs without shells, and eggs only partially formed, right?

These are not egg machines, they are living breathing creatures, who need to be healthy and happy to breed successfully for you.

Healthier birds, who are in good physical condition, tend to breed more successfully, and have larger clutches, and bigger and healthier chicks.

However, these are your birds, so of course you must do what you think is right.

What is hard boil egg? Can you explain plz?

A hard boiled egg is a chicken egg (the kind people would use to eat) that is boiled until it is completely cooked (about 10 minutes). I boil the egg, run cold water over it, and take the shell off of it. The egg is cut in half, & I grate the half of the egg with a regular kitchen grater, or you could chop in small pieces. Then I grate some fresh carrot and shave a bit of brocoli top to mix with the egg. Be sure the brocoli has been previously washed to remove any pesticide. The egg, carrot and brocoli is put in a dish or cup for the birds. I take this food out within 3 hours so the egg doesn't spoil. THe shell I crush into fine pieces & give in a separate cup. That can stay in cage, won't go bad. WHat size is your cage, do you have pictures of your birds environment?

Don't worry! Your birds won't stop breeding forever. It's just until they're not sick anymore! Just a little while. The mother bird can die, if she has babies when she's not healthy. The babies will die too, it's very sad.

Try to think about it like running in a race- when you're sick with pnumonia! You have to wait until you get better, and then practice so you're in good shape for the race. Otherwise, you won't win, and you can even die. It's the same for the birds.

It depends on how sick they are, how long to keep the nest box out. I like to give my birdies at least 30 days between egg layings, but maybe lovezebs or babs will have better advice, they are very experienced.

Great job, making a new care plan for your birds! It's never easy to change the way you do things, but your birds will be very very happy and healthier sometime in the near future.

Problem! I removed their nestbox but they are going to other java nestbox they want to breed! What should i do??

I think my hen java will lay another egg i just put their nestbox back their,After they lay that egg i will check it that it is with fully shell or not if is'nt then i will immedietly remove nestbox!

How I boil my eggs:

Place chicken eggs in a cooking pot
Cover with cold water
Add a little salt
Place on medium to high heat

When water begins to boil, lower heat a little bit, but keep water boiling
Check your watch for time
Cook eggs for 10 minutes
Remove from heat, and turn heat off

Drain the hot water from eggs
Place eggs in very cold water for 5 minutes

Peel eggs and save the peels to use later for the birds
Chop eggs into very little pieces, or grate them for the birds

I have a good recipe for egg food, but not sure if you have the ingredients where you are.

What part of the world do you live in? I live in Canada.

If may i ask, why do you add salt?

An old trick which my Mother taught me many many years ago.
If you add a bit of salt to the water, the eggs tend not to crack while they are cooking.

Plus, I figure that seeing as it is iodized salt, the shells may absorb some of the iodine from the salt, making them even more useful.
