Sounds like you're having loads of fun with the Waxbills.

If you think the Waxbills are up early, try some Parrot Finches, I swear these birds just never sleep, lol.

lovezebs I am they are so sweet,so far they are all geting along great.I better remember about those parrots,Hubby is not too happy geting woken up by the little ones,he kept telling me it was the canary,I knew the waxbills were the cuprits.they are like the red cardinals in my outside feeders eating just at sun set and up just before sun up
I love it,I would much rather get up early this time of year our cold new england winters not so much.

I love being awakened to the sounds of birds, both inside and out.

I have Robins, who start up at around 3:30-4:00 am, lol. Your hubby would love that, lol.

My Canaries, are mostly late lazy sleepers.

lovezebs I love looking out my window in the morning,window is right near my bed and watch the cardinals and the little hummingbirds up early the first to eat around 5:00AM,especially if its not cloudy.As soon as the waxbills start they wake everyone up in the birdroom is running full force.next to my two maltese sleeping next to me "life is good"
