I finally found my little orange cheeks.Was in Bird Supply of NH yesterday just looking around and there they were.Had to go home without them dig out a cage out of the shed set it up and went and picked them up this morning.I just love the waxbills.Not sure about what they are yet(male or female) but Iam soooo very happy.

Tish thank-you they are the only place close to me(about 45 min.) that sells very nice birds,I have never had any problems with any of them.And they sell more then just society and zebras.
@Babs thank-you They are in my bedroom for quartine,the background wall is a shower curtain works great much easier to wash down then the wall.I have some in my living room too and my keets think it a real tree they are always tring to pick at it.funny to watch.

Wait where is this store? How far from Pittsburgh? Quite a bit?

sparrowsong98 the bird supply store is in NH,not sure if its Nashua you can google it they do have a web site but they don't up date much.There is a phone # you can call .This morning they had orange cheeks,lavendars,spice ,gouldians, zebras,a few others too but not sure of names also lots of parrots,great store for food and bird supplies too.

lovezebs ,what a cutie that was the first thing mine did in there cage.I never thought I would find any was so happy when I saw them.I just love the the waxbills they are so fun to watch very energetic little ones

Stuart whitingI have enjoyed them they are so sweet not sure if have male or female,but really not breeding they do love one another they are in 2 F030 cages with gold breast and red cheeks blues,so the six of them are very happy with all there flying room.We thought the gold breast were early rises!!!!! the orange cheeks are up before sun up 4:00----4:30 AM.I find that funny because they are the last ones out at night,must be because they can only stay still for a short time.Next to my society they are one of my favorites still am amazed I found them.
