Java finch age?

Here are some pictures of my fawn javas when I got them. Is there any way to tell around how old they are? I believe they are still quite young because the male sounds like he is still "practicing" his singing.

Also are they 100% a pair? I think they should be because the female is much paler but I'm not sure if it's guaranteed since they are young.

they are in their adult color.... with fawns you can sex based on cap color.... males have a dark coco colored cap, hens have faded caps.... this is a chart to go by also that may help you further

looks like one is a hen... the one in the single picture a hen

the one in the back may be a boy, hard to tell in the lighting if the cap is darker due to how it is sitting behind the hen
