Anyone know what kind of Finch this is

I have two finches that I purchased from a local pet store back in June. My friend who owns the store said that he got them from a lady at his church. He was told they were a male and a female and while he didn't know the age, he was told they were "young". So clearly one is a male zebra finch. The white one is the one I am not sure about. It has no markings and from what I have read a female should have an orange beak and feet. Hers are white. She, (it) is not albino, because her eyes are dark. I have had them almost 4 months and while they are clearly bonded the only thing I have seen resembling sexual activity is from the white one not the normal one. I am thinking it is male. Also while she sings differently she does sing a lot. Let me know if you have any ideas. Doesn't really matter. I just want to know.

The white one could be a male dark-eyed white/white pied society finch.

That is kinda what I am thinking too. It's head is shaped different too. I'll see if I can find pics of society's.
Thanks for you reply.

Yes Fraser, it does. I noticed the difference from day one, but these are my first finches and I went by what I was told. And while I don't know the age I know I have had them for 4 months, and I'm not sure how long another lady had them before she relinquished them to my friends pet store and they came from somewhere before her. So at the very least they are 6 or 7 months old. I have seen no eggs. I knew right off if the white one was a zebra it should at the very least have red or orange beak and feet. When it sings it moves it's head and beak like it is performing at the opera. When the zebra sings you hardly see it's beak move, if any. Their heads are also shaped a little different.
They get along very well and I so enjoy watching and listening to them, but if they are both male, I need to stop telling my friends that I may have babies to give them in the future. lol

Those round cages are also not good for finches, they don't provide much horizontal flight space. A square-shaped cage a couple feet wide at minimum is ideal for their well-being.

Thanks Dylan. That is actually an old picture. It is the cage I brought th hem home in. They are in a vision m02, and they use every inch of it.

I'm just curious to know how you'd actually know it's a cock bird, bengalese / society finches are certainly not the the easiest to sex visually if atall, I wouldn't necessarily go by the eye line eaither as this could be to unreliable,
I've always gone by song when it come to sexing em but with this bird it's obviously not possible unless the owner records a video of the bird

Fraza, they do. The zebra will scoot the white one to the end of the perch trying to get closer and closer. And at night they sleep in the nest together. You couldn't tell them that they are not suppose to be together.

She said it sings.
And good to know they are in a good cage,
tess!

They will bond Fraser...
If your Aunty wants one of each, I would go with 2 males (no egg laying issues) and no possibility of hybridizing.
