only one slight problem is that yer bird dosen't appear to be a pearl,
From looking at yer pic it very much looks like a " self chestnut "

Pearls generally show an awful lot of silver throughout the body whereas you bird dosen't appear to have this,
This is why you've not bred any pearls

Try looking at the national bengalese fanciers association under the pearl section and it'll clearly show yer the difference or failing that just simply Google images pearl bengalese and again you'll see what I mean,

In real life he looks exactly like the one on the right hand side picture then the bottom left, actually identical

Arh right yea ok mate, yer first pic really did look like a self chestnut but apon looking at the bird in the nest I can now actually see it's a pearl
Looks like you've got a black / brown or a black / grey pearl

Stuart whiting thanks and yeh the picture does discise it but I just like it because how clear it looks it’s really weird that I’ve hes had so many clutches with ginge and all have been brown and now this one has cane out grey
