It looks like some kind of mannikin, but this is the only picture. The person found it freezing to death on the street in Poland, and quickly shoved it in this cage to carry home; hopefully it won't be in there long.

Luckily, it can be released once the weather warms up! It's a native bird, but has no business being that far north this late in the year, apparently

When I lived in northern Germany, I used to sometimes see them in the fall. Usually they are pretty shy. The first time I saw one I was surprised by their size.
