Is this a normal WB Green Body gouldian???

Post by Paulie » Mon Oct 27, 2008 3:52 am

Just asking general opinion whether this white breast/normal green male gouldian is indeed a 'normal' green colour?

I have had a white breasted male gouldian in the past which had a more darker olive/green back, but this lil guy i have has a very lime coloured green body. I know he ain't a dilute cause his black mask part is black as opposed to a grey on a dilute, but i just want to know if anyone has white breasted gouldians with a lighter green body?

OR am i starting to go colour blind and this is how a normal green body is suppose to look?

Looks pretty normal to me. Maybe the way the light is hitting him?

Looks normal to me as well. I have two of that same mutation and they look identical to yours. It seems that the white breast mutation can alter other colors. Take the white breasted blue back and compare it to the purple breasted blue back. The belly colors are very different.
