RCCB observation

I noticed something while watching the birds in my aviary. The RCCB make an odd sound when they fly by, which reminds me of the sound that doves make when they take off suddenly. It isn't a chirping, but kind of a faint "whistling." I don't know how to describe it better.

None of the other birds seem make this sound.

Has anyone else noticed this before?

Mike

I have never noticed this Mike, but with all the birds in my bird room, it's difficult to really notice one particular sound.

It would be interesting if you could capture this on video.

I can try this, but the bird flies by so fast, it would be hard to capture. Many of the other birds make sounds as they fly, but more of the "chirping" type. The RCCB reminded me of a small dove, the way it sounded.

Perhaps I can set a camera up for a couple of hours, then watch the result until I see the RCCB.
