Pic of our three month old BCCB "baby"
Our first Blue Capped Cordon Bleu juvenile from this breeding season is three months old now. Our pair is sitting on three eggs now so maybe we will have a few more this breeding season.

Thanks for the comments. We have this single youngster in a large flight cage with two Owl Finches and they get along fine. Originally had him in a flight cage with 6 Gouldian juveniles until I noticed that one Gouldian was picking this guys feathers on the back of his head and he had a bald spot. Fortunately it was his juv feathers and new feathers have grown in to replace them already.

Lauren I just saw your post today. Haven't been on the forum much this summer. We do not have any BCCB's for sale now. If our pair breeds this coming breeding season the soonest we would have any available would be next year. I am thinking we may want to keep a few because they are almost impossible to get at the present time.
