Got everyone moved into the new cage last night. I know they should have more room but this is the best I can do

I'm thinking about rehoming one but it's hard to do so. I worry about it being a single.

GailC that is big enough for them plus they are society’s they like being huddled the only thing is is that u will have to use dummy eggs and throw their eggs because u cant have any of the offspring in breeding

Verny nice cage though I like the set up mine really like fish fake plants out of fish tanks

Thanks. I plan on getting some kind of fake greenery, maybe a long spray of ivy to go around the top.

I have fake eggs but the nest will be coming out soon as babies are completely weaned. They still like taking naps in it mid day.

Beautiful cages! Lucky birds, I would say. I have all male Societies, and they love their nest. Always dragging something up there to put in it. And they all sleep in it at night.

They do love the nest. Daddy has been mate calling and today he started rebuilding the nest so I took it out. Working on making them a sleeping box, hopefully they will use it

so far they want nothing to do with it. I tried hanging some greens inside to temp them to explore but no go yet.
I hope someone gets brave and checks it out.

They still aren't using the box. I added a perch closer to the front and they go on that but there is zero interest in the box.
How much longer should I leave it before giving up? No reason to leave it taking up space.

Found all 5 birds stuffed into the smallest dish in the cage. I felt bad for them so I took out the box and gave them a nest back.

I'm thinking about separating the genders so I won't have to worry about breeding.
