parrotfinches

I have the opportunity to build a big outdoor aviary - 2 x 4 m or even more - and thus could house parrotfinches. The problem over here is getting nearly any bird, but in the past I've seen tri-colour (Forbes), red faced and blue headed as well as my favourite the coloria parrotfinch (red eared).
I've read a lot in the last days and would like to have some advice.
I only want one pair - with the eventual chicks - and was wondering if an aviary (planted) of these dimensions would be safe enough for the females (as I wouldn't have a second big flight to have the sexes separated).
Any ideas? Any advices which would be the easiest for a parrot-finch beginner as me? Thanks!
