I got a pair of Red Cheeked Courdon Blues and they love their big planted cage. Also my Green Singers seem to be building a nest since I put them in the planted cage. I am so happy. I have coconut & shredded paper in there. Should I have anything else? I just put my new Gold Breasts in their new planted cage and they seem to like it also. The canaries are starting to nest also. Hopefully we will have a bunch of new peppers!!!..I am so happy.

Home of 5 kitties, 4 furbabies,6 canaries,2 Courdon Blues,3 RoseBreasted Waxbills,3 Gouldians,2 Green Singers and 1 Husband.

Sounds like all of your birds are very happy! Good Job!

Can you take any pictures of these new cages and birds? I would love to see them!!! Also, best advice I can tell you is to feed them the best foods, and offer a variety and let nature take its course! Good luck!

Yes, pics please!
I love not only looking at other peoples birds, but their cages and cage layouts.

How are you folks getting those wonderful pictures? All I get is the bars of the cage and I can't get inside.

Congrats on all the new birds and nesting activites - 'tis the season!
With my small point and shoot digital - I put it right up to the cage bars and then zoom a little until the bars disappear from the screen on the camera.
I cannot use my large SLR digital camera as there is no way I can get close enough to get any pics without the cage bars.
