My male gold breast chick who is getting his adult colors has a stalker. My adult red star hen. She follows him around everywhere in the flight and she will constantly preen him. When he sings, she will just sit there and stare at him. Its pretty funny. Here is a picture of the 2 with lovey dovey eyes. He is moving out this weekend along with his 2 sisters.

Hi Chris,
They are gorgeous! But I'm partial to GBs.
So nice that you got a male as well (mine had 3 girls, 1 boy). It's so exciting when you see the first red feather come in above the eyes, that tell you it's a boy! His breast colouring is coming along nicely now, too.
I also really enjoyed his quiet little song. He was a much better singer than his dad, and I was sorry to see him go. Here's hoping that you have good luck the next time around, too.
I don't know why mine decided to toss the next time, when they had no problems with the first clutch.

Thanks everyone.
Franny, the boy is a MUCH MUCH better singer than his father without question. And his song is VERY loud. Behind 2 closed doors, from across my house, I can hear him when he gets going in the early morning and the late evening, those are the times he practices.
As for the 2nd clutch, my pair just started laying eggs like a machine while the babies you see above were not even weened. She ended up getting to distracted to sit on the eggs and wasted what I would have assumed to be 2 clutches worth of eggs.

I did take the nest out, clean it, restuff it and put some nesting material in the cage a week later and let her finish off her eggs since she kept laying. She is now sitting on a new clutch. I have no clue if they hatched or not, i assume they would have if any were fertile. Its been about 2 or 3 weeks. She NEVER comes out of the nest and when she does, the male is on egg/baby duty. I am anticipating very soon to hear some new cheep cheeps out of that nest. And thank goodness, no tosslings as of this AM.
I already have some cheep cheeping come from my yellow gouldians nest. I think that chick (yes, just 1) is a bit over a week now. Fingers crossed for a yellow, but anything will be great for sure.
