I'm just so happy! Tonight after feeding the girls, and watching them both eat some dried bloodworms (first time I've seen the society eat them), I was surprised to see them cuddle up right next to each other. And even more surprised to see Cricket (soc) preening Jane (GB).

I am so glad they've finally gotten so friendly (I got Cricket on Oct. 17). Not that there was ever any conflict - but they used to always maintain about a 3 inch gap between each other. No more!

And the roomates bond. How sweet is that

I am so glad that they became good buddies. Isn't it wonderful when everything works out the way we want it to?

Yes it's worked out really well. But I must admit, they really look like "the odd couple" snuggled up together. The society finch is at least 3 times bigger than the Goldbreast!

I don't have any goldbreasts but I've seen many before and they are probably the smallest finches I've seen. So much color on such a tiny thing.
