Stars not sitting in nest

My stars have two babies.They are eleven days old.The parents feed them but as of last night and tonight,they dont stay in nest with them,thanks tom.

If they are still feeding then it shouldn't be a problem because the babies will keep each other warm. Gouldians also do this with there babies as well. Just keep a eye on them and make sure they are being fed and all should be well! Congrats! :D

That's perfectly normal. The parents will stop brooding the babies anywhere from 8-12 days, depending on the species. Once they are getting some feathers, they can keep themselves warm enough. Species like Owls that sleep in a nest at night will pile up at night with their babies, but many others will go back to roosting on a perch at night. You will also find that with species that don't normally sleep in a nest at night, the babies will stop going in the nest soon after fledging, and start sleeping on a perch.
