am putting this in this section as once someone works out what the picture really is I'll put up the proper picture

Are we supposed to be guessing? Looks like a house finch or purple finch, colors would help.

I agree with debbie...housefinch. Add a little red to the top of the head and bib area.

I was going to say the same thing.....
But the beak didn't seem quite long enough.....

The first thing to come to my mind was Chaffinch.

(I think its Yellow Hammer in english.. or maybe European Yellow Hammer, in Swedish its "Gulsparv" but the latin name is the same al ower the world offcourse )

wery nice bird, we have them in my backyard.. they sing wery funny.. sounds like they know how to count

But not allowed to have in the bird hobby in Sweden, no european birds is allowed.
