Beautiful birds John. Would love to take a couple off your hands but only have room for two or three, single digits, not followed by many zeroes. Plus LA is quite a distance from PA.

Do you have any problems with chicks being born blind with these guys? Isn't that an occasional problem with this mutation?

Adorable! Such a lovely colour. I would love to steal some of them, haven't seen much of this mutation out here, but you know...Iceland is kind of far away lol.

I wish I had an extra room I could fill of bird cages *sigh*

Hi, If blindness is a problem I have not experienced it. I may be wrong but I thought blindness was associated with red-eyed whites. These birds have dark eyes.

Good glad to hear your aren't having any problems. Must have a strong breeding stock. Don't know about the red eye whites but have heard more than one about problems with this mutation. Roy Beckham made note of it on efinch as well. Check down in the first paragraph under the heading "Notes."
