This forum is not or "short-term" classified ads such as the sales of individual birds or individual items such as listing a single bird cage for sale; for those ads, please use the Marketplace Forum.

This forum is for creating a business listing in the style of a "business card" for members to browse and use as a resource for locating avian supplies/services.

To post here, you must own a bird-related business, be affiliated with one, or otherwise have express written permission from the business owner to place a listing here. Only businesses which offer legitimate avian supplies & services are permitted.

All posts made here require moderator approval prior to publication, and will be locked to prevent any replies (read-only).

If a listing needs to be updated, the onus is on the post author/vendor to notify the moderator team of the requested edit.


Guidelines for creating a listing:

Only create one listing (thread/post) per business/individual vendor.

The TITLE of the listing/thread should reflect two things:

1. The most pertinent/applicable "category/categories" (or brief description) of avian wares the business sells/offers. Examples of general categories include: "Food & Nutrition" "Health & Testing" "Cages & Accessories" "Equipment & Supplies" "Gifts & merchandise" “Books & Publications” or you can be more specific, e.g. "Disinfectants" "Legbands" “Medications” "Aviary Construction" etc.
2. If the business only caters to a certain country or region, please also specify that in the title.
   
   An example title for the thread/listing for a business called FINCHfeeders, a company who sells bird diets, but which only ships within Canada would be: "FINCHFeeders: offering avian diets in Canada."
   
   An example title for a commercial aviary called Tweeters that sells zebra finches & canaries in South Florida but doesn’t ship would be: “Tweeters: Breeder of Zebra Finches & Canaries in S. FL” To qualify for posting in this forum, Tweeters would need to be a legitimate/recognized business entity (i.e. have the proper documentation/licensing required to breed/sell birds), and be a large enough scale breeder to have birds available on a consistent basis/year-round (i.e. not a hobby breeder offering a few chicks for sale this year).

In the BODY of the listing/post, please include the following information at minimum:

1. Business Name
2. Business Website (or comparable contact information) through which items can be viewed/ordered
3. List of items/services/species typically available for sale. Brief descriptions are permitted.
4. Covered shipping locations
   
   You are also permitted to include additional business contact information such as business address, phone number, and/or e-mail address if you'd like (remember this is a public forum & anyone can read it).
   
   Photos (including a scanned photo of your actual business card) are permitted, but limited to 4 photos per vendor/thread.

Content submitted here must still abide by all of the other guidelines outlined in the Terms of Service. Prohibited content includes but is not limited to: (1) illegal content; (2) content in facilitation of the creation, advertising, distribution, provision or receipt of illegal goods or services; (3) irrelevant (not bird-related) or offensive content, (4) content that discloses another's personal, confidential or proprietary information; (5) false, misleading, or fraudulent content, (6) malicious content (including, without limitation, malware or spyware); (7) content that offers, promotes, advertises or provides links to unsolicited products or services.
