Hello
I was wondering how to add new Birds to my existing outside aviary with as little fuss as possible, and without upsetting my Birds
I have 4 Zebra finches, a pair of Bengalese and a pair of Canary's
Thanks

Re: Adding new Birds
Hi Marius
My Aviary is 9 feet long 6 feet High and 3 foot wide
I haven't put out nesting boxes yet, thought I would wait for a couple of weeks, as still cold here!
Would it be better to introduce new birds before nesting commences?
I was thinking of a pair of Goudian Finches
Regards.

Re: Adding new Birds
Eight birds in a 9x3 aviary is OK without breeding, but adding another pair with breeding might be pushing it. You can try it and see how things go, but I would have a plan B in place in case you start having problems with aggression.
