Re: Home from the Bird Mart!
Sally thanks for the reply. I'm keeping mine in my bedroom and my little boy woke me up quite early today
which I actually didn't mind because I needed to get an early start, but I'm wondering what would be best for them.

I do not either, they are up with the sun or earlier and find a perch as the sun is going down.Do you guys cover your birds at night?

I do not cover my flights.
I discovered early on , that it was more of a hassle than it was worth.
My birds are in my kitchen.
Lights come on around 8AM (give or take)
Main kitchen light gets turned off around 8PM
Flight lights turned off around 9PM, when they all go to bed.
There is an over the oven light, which remains on until around 11 PM or later, but it doesn't seem to bother them in the least.

Re: Home from the Bird Mart!
Ok thanks for the info
Thus far I've enjoyed the early starts as my sleep schedule is really finicky it's actually helped to be forced to wake up and at least stare at the their morning antics for a bit before I get ready for my day.
