Hi,
We have six zeebra finches that live harmoniously together. We have two males and four females. We started out with one couple, they had a baby but they were plucking her feathers when she matured. I did some research and realized that they are extremely territorial. I decided to buy another three finches and the fighting stopped after about a week. They sometimes still bicker between each other, but it is not common.
Since we have so many, we were thinking to give a pair to a friend who wants some (one male and one female), but I am not sure if that will cause them to become aggressive again. They know each other now for at least a year, but will they start with their hierarchy if two of them leave the cage?

zeebeez if your zebras are living in harmony and you feel the cage is big enough ,I personally would leave well enough alone.
