Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I currently have a small cage with a pair of zebras housed quite happily. I would like to get a bigger cage for more birds but I would like canary’s.
My question is, can I house canary’s with my zebras in a larger cage?
I’ve seen the most beautiful coral pink canary in my local pet shop all on his own and am really wanting to bring him home but I’m concerned he might fight with my two zebras. Can any one please offer me some advice on wether this is a good idea or not?
Thank you
Elizabeth

Hi there I have heard that canaries can fight with zebras but I have my pair of canaries housed in an avairy with my zebras and they are quite happy together!

depends on the cage size and whether or not u are breeding them.

I think the canary should be fine as long as neither your Canary nor finches are breeding

If the cage is spacious and is and not breeding then there will be no fighting at all I’ve had doves and Java’s together with zebras and bengis with a cage that wasn’t massive and they didn’t fight but when breeding zebras are little devils

FINCHES I HAVE
Bengalese
zebras
Java sparrows
Silver bills
java x beng hybrid
PETS IVE HAD
dogs
Fish
Cocktiel
Doves
Hybrid cherry x Bengalese
Stars
Heck’s
Canary’s
My favourite is COCO my grey pearl society cock been here since the start my flock leader

Apparently when canaries are breeding they 'can' pluck the feathers off the zebras for their nest but seeing as u r only getting one canary I say- go for it!!! Go and buy that gorgeous canary!!
