For the sides and bottom 6 inches of my indoor aviary I used white board. I left the top and front wire for air circulation. White board can be found in any Lowes and/or Home Depot type store. It's like paneling and very easy to wash and wipe down.
Having the sides closed sure helps keep all the mess off your floors and walls

I finished my setup for the societies. I am gonna have a trio in each cage. 1 male and 2 females in each cage. The flight is now empty and ready for the new fire finches and cordon bleus I'm getting later this week.

jamezyboo21 congrats on being able to have mire finches. :D Just wondering, what is making you do a trio in each? Why not just do all societies in a cage and the CB and FF in the other?

I have my societies in breeder cages. That way if I need them for fostering, their already set up. If I keep them in one cage together, they will most likely cram into one nest and will make it a little harder to raise chicks.
I want to put the fires and cordons and any other finches I get into the flihht. Then I'm either gonna make another flight or fix the aviary/flight that I have outside. It needs a new roof and new wheels.

So far everything is going good!! The three trio pairs each have eggs they are sitting on and i moved the button quail outside in their own cage and they already have eggs in their nest. i have seen them sitting on the eggs but not sure if their actually ready to incubate. they have 4 eggs so far
