Help sexing a Heck's Shaft-tail, please?

if that is the only shaft tail then you have a male.... I would try to find a hen for him... the last group of pictures I posted with the shaft tails lined up along the perch is a good example of bibs.... you can see that rounded tear drop smaller bib on the hens compared to the males which is wider than the hens.

When looking for a mate try to watch the birds when they are in a relaxed calm state, the hens when startled will crouch down a bit and throat puff which makes the bib look bigger, wider.

Shaft tails are very hard to sex, I would still like to see a picture of the bird looking straight at the front and the bird is not crouch down or the picture is not from above. The bird preferably standing upright. Based on what is in the pictures it looks male but from the angles and position of the bird it may distort it. if you load one picture at a time it can be clicked on to enlarge.
