I ran a search on the forum and see the question was asked before about how to get the little birdie icons for your sig block. I found instructions to go to the Finch Breeder Database, create account and put your birds in, then you can come back to this forum and put the icons in your sig block. But I can't find any specific instrux on how exactly to get the icons into the sig block editor.

I created my account and my birds are there, but I don't know how to plug the icons in on my sig block here. Tried inserting jpgs, but it wanted links, so I have a feeling I'm just not aware of a web page that I need to link to... that anywhere in the ballpark?

Can any of you awesome computer people tell me how to do that?

AzillaFinch I can help you with this!! At the bottom of your bird icons in the database, there is a URL that you copy.. When you get here, paste it into your signature. Let me know if you have anymore questions

delray I went into the page showing the list of my birds and I'm not seeing a copiable link. Am I possibly on the wrong page? Or what exactly does the link say so that I can hilight and copy?

delray Well, after a bunch more messing around on the database, I did find the signature icon page I needed to be on. I adjusted it and saved it, copied the link and pasted it into my FinchForum signature as a link, as a thumbnail as a pic and none of those worked... it kept showing up as a written out link instead of birdie icons. I know I'm close, just doing something a little wrong... lol. Set me straight and I'll get it once and for all

Try this, log into both finchforum and finchbreederdatabase

Click on 'birds' tab at top of finchbreederdatabase page then the red 'options' button, this brings you to the signature/icon page, check the box for 'allow signature' and 'save', then on same page below the 'save' button you'll see 3 lines starting with 'to insert' +link, middle line is finchforum and just click on the link beside it and save again.

I'm having the SAME problem...I can't figure out where to put the image brackets in the link to make it work!!!!!
