What does your Emergency Kit contain?

And/or your quarantine kit? I would like to build a well-rounded supply of tools/medications/etc. so that they're available when needed immediately...so I'm never in a situation of having to scramble for a product. There aren't many bird options in my area, I buy most supplies online.

SCATT and wormer for quarantine. NV powder for stress situations (new birds, moving, going to shows, etc.). Liquid calcium in case of egg binding. Hand feeding formula in freezer for just in case. Avian Insect Liquidator for pests. Virkon S for disinfecting and sprouting seed. Sparkle to add to water for weekends away. A few out-of-date meds that I haven't used.

Absolutely agree with Sally's list and would add:
nail clippers for trimming nails and possibly a beak or two
a banding tool in case you have to handfeed or remove a band that is caught on something
a net in case you have an escapee (I use a butterfly net)

debbie276 Good additions. I might also add for those who closed-band their birds, it is a good idea to keep band cutters on hand, just in case you have to remove a closed band in an emergency.

Love the "and a few out dated meds that I never used...." I think we all have those, but they just seemed like we NEEDED To have them when we bought them huh Sally? :D
That's what I have, I also have anti biotic, but that's cuz i needed it at one point and I'm pretty sure it expires (see above statment to Sally) i also have an ointment for soothing skin as w/ Zebs plucking tends to happen and in my case, my Hen got a HUGE i don't even know what on her head so I treated it because it irritated her skin, but again, I only have these things because i needed them, but if you have zebs (any bird that can be territorial) i recommend the oinment for those poor raw plucked areas... or like in my case a giant, tumor like growth.... that thank heavens came off and my bird is now 100% beautiful again! Good luck with the ordering
