Beautiful new birds
We just received a pair of Painted Firetail Finches and Owl Finches. We have them in a large flight cage. The Owl Finches are a little harder to photograph in a large cage but maybe once they settle down more it will be easier. Here are some photographs of the Painted finches. They are beautiful birds.

The breeder is in San Diego, California. He shipped the birds to us via United Airlines. Great person to buy birds from. His web site is -FLDoc wrote: Local breeder or by mail and, if so, where?

I have been waiting over four months to obtain a few pairs of Painted Firetails but they cost around $700 per pair here so I have been biding my time hoping to snag them at a slightly lower price.
