Gouldian Identification

Hello Everybody,
The breeder told me that this bird is a female .Can someone confirm if its a lady gouldian female or male and the age of the bird.

I would agree its a hen - the head would be a much more vibrant and solid red on a male.

You can't really guess ages on birds much though ...

Looks like a hen to me especially with that beak smeared red like that. When Pastel hens are in breeding mode the beak gets smeared like that, not in breeding mode the red color is at the tip like all males.
Pastel's can not produce the color black so the beak does not turn black in breeding mode like the other mutations.
